    Hi,

I posted a thread a year or two ago now when I first started using the pixopoint plugin with wordpress.

    https://geek.hellyer.kiwi/forum/http://local … ic.php?t=3

Every time I did an upgrade using the wordpress auto update mechanism the custom theme I had in place was removed.

After some great help I restored it, however the most current upgrade (again using the wordpress auto upgrade) has again removed it.

Looking at what, the auto upgrade process basically unzips the plugin directory over the top of the old one (I took a backup first).

I’m now unsure how to put my custom menu theme back using the backup, without undoing some of the updates/fixes/enchancements of the upgrade, eg: I don’t want to just start restoring files as it may break the version update, I just want to put the custom menu theme back.

We don’t provide support for menus anymore sorry.

Your bug doesn’t make sense to me either sorry, as custom menus should not break during an upgrade. They’re stored in the database, so shouldn’t be affected by plugin upgrades.

If you are modifying the plugin files, then you are forking the software and can just change the folder/plugin name to avoid the auto-update feature messing with your changes.
