Hi..  I’ve been trying to rework some things in the elegant grunge theme that comes with wp2.7.1 to fit what I want on my site.  One of the main things I want to add is pull-down menus to ease the navigation a bit.  I spent the morning trying to get the mln plugin to work to no avail.  There is something funky somewhere in the css that causes mln to do all kinds of screwy things when displaying the menu.

At that point I noticed the template generator had an upload function that was available to subscribers.  So I figured I would do a features subscription, upload the theme and be able to customize it to my needs.  Unfortunately when I attempt to upload, I get error messages which are probably due to me not uploading the right thing. I couldn’t find any kind of instructions for using the upload so I was assuming it wanted a zip of the theme which probably isn’t right.  <img decoding=” title=”Tongue” />

So my question is, is it possible to pull in and rework the elegant grunge theme with the template generator?  If so, what am I doing wrong?  If not, any suggestions on a path I should take to try and recreate the theme in the generator?  A good understanding of CSS still continues to elude me.. heh

    Thanks
    Shawn

You can not upload WordPress themes into the template generator. I don’t know of any service which is capable of doing that and I doubt one will exist for a very long time. That would be extremely complicated to build.

The upload feature in the template generator is for uploading the XML files which you can export after creating a new design. You definitely can’t upload existing themes that way (unless it came with an XML file exported previously from the PixoPoint template generator).
