Add text to Footer

    I can’t seem to add text after generating template.

    I tried playing with the code in the footer.php but nothing seems to appear.

    Please help.

    Okay, I played with the function.php file, i was able to place some text in the footer but once i put <br>, the break is huge.

    Could someone help???
