XHTML 1.0 Transitional W3C validation Failed

Hello, I have implemented the Multi-level Menu into my site. It works great but fails the XHTML 1.0 Transitional W3C validation. I receive the same errors as seen when validating the plugin demo page. https://geek.hellyer.kiwi/demo/wordpress/ind … ugin  I would be grateful for any suggestions as I would like a w3c compliant site.

I am using wordpress Version 2.5.1 and have tried versions 1.0.2 & 1.0.3 of the plugin within two other w3c compliant templates.
