Welcome to the WP SlimBox2 plugin support board.
Help here is provided by the plugin developer malcalevak[/url:2g3otz8f] (Greg Yingling).
January 6, 2009 at 2:42 pm #4521malcalevakModeratorThanks, Ryan, for offering to host the support forums.
For those who are interested, the plugin link is http://transientmonkey.com/wp-slimbox2It’s an implementation of the Slimbox2 javascript (which now utilizes jQuery) – more on the plugin page.
I’ll link back here shortly.

July 27, 2011 at 4:43 am #4523malcalevakModeratorYour question doesn’t make much sense…can you clarify?
October 17, 2011 at 8:14 pm #4524El-BeeMemberCristophe Beyl write:
"It temporary hides flash animations and other embedded videos while it is open to avoid display bugs in some browsers."
Can I get this also working in the WP version?
Right now it doesn’t and the lightbox is always behind an embedded flash..October 26, 2011 at 6:41 pm #4525malcalevakModeratorI’d have to see an example of what you’re referring to. WP-Slimbox is literally implementing the exact same Javascript, so if that feature is done by default, it should function in the plugin as well. If it’s not, I’ll need an example to help diagnose why it’s not.
November 8, 2011 at 9:48 pm #4526AnisanisMemberHi, I have installed wp-Slimbox2 in my two websites. The thing is in one of them is working and in the other one not…is the same theme, plugins and configuration.

Can you help me? Thank you very much!
November 9, 2011 at 3:03 am #4527malcalevakModeratorAnisanis, unfortunately that first link doesn’t appear to be working at all. I get a message that the website is under review. I can’t really do a proper comparison of the two, and unfortunately in my quick glance over the site that was up, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I’ll try and look at it again when I get some more time.
November 16, 2011 at 3:29 pm #4528malcalevakModeratorAnisanis, it looks like you resolved the problem, since I just checked, and both sites were up with Slimbox working.

March 4, 2012 at 7:42 pm #4531AnonymousMemberThe plugin is working great for me. Thank you for making it! I would like to place some social media stuff in the lightbox via shortcode (from another plugin). I am happy to edit code, I just don’t know where to put my shortcodes. If you could point me to the file and position to show my social media directly beneath the image that would be a great help. ” title=”Smiley” />
March 6, 2012 at 12:20 pm #4532malcalevakModeratorI honestly don’t quite know what you’d need to tweak, though enough people have asked for something similar that I might look into adding it as a feature.
For now, you might look at this thread: https://geek.hellyer.kiwi/forum/http://local … ic.php?t=3 -
