It’s an implementation of the Slimbox2 javascript (which now utilizes jQuery) – more on the plugin page.

Can I get this also working in the WP version?
Right now it doesn’t and the lightbox is always behind an embedded flash..

I’d have to see an example of what you’re referring to. WP-Slimbox is literally implementing the exact same Javascript, so if that feature is done by default, it should function in the plugin as well. If it’s not, I’ll need an example to help diagnose why it’s not.

Anisanis, unfortunately that first link doesn’t appear to be working at all. I get a message that the website is under review. I can’t really do a proper comparison of the two, and unfortunately in my quick glance over the site that was up, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I’ll try and look at it again when I get some more time.

The plugin is working great for me. Thank you for making it! I would like to place some social media stuff in the lightbox via shortcode (from another plugin). I am happy to edit code, I just don’t know where to put my shortcodes. I honestly don’t quite know what you’d need to tweak, though enough people have asked for something similar that I might look into adding it as a feature.
