I’m using the Multi-Level Navigation plugin, and I would like to use it to show the list of categories for my store (using WP eCommerce). Right now, I am using HTML to list all the categories in the Custom Code box, but I have a ton of categories and would prefer if these could be automatically populated in the drop downs. I have template tags or shortcode that pulls the category list, wondering if there’s a way to put that in somewhere so that the navigation will automatically pull those categories in, and recognize the sub-cats as well.

Hope all that was clear  :o  Thanks for any help!

    Hi,
Sorry for the ridiculously long wait time before I have replied.

There is a menu item available in the plugin for adding categories automatically. No need to use the custom code box for that.

It’s no problem. I’m using the custom box for now. Problem is, the categories aren’t post categories, they are the WP-Ecommerce categories so they don’t show up in the regular category list <img decoding=” title=”Sad” />

WP e-Commerce categories are an entirely different system altogether; I don’t think they are related to WordPress categories at all.

Please, I need your help on this plugin. I stumbled at it and I fell in love with it. I have been trying to achieve one thing: Make all menu customized. So, instead of the 4 available custom menu, i will have 8. Or, is there any way to fully modify other options like pages(single dropdown), categories etc to be really personal. I have tried to do this, but I still don’t get it. Please put me through. This plugin is da bomb!!! Please help.

This is unrelated to the original topic, so I’ll spit it off …

It is unlikely that you need to use 8 custom code blocks. Many people have requested it before, but it has always turned out that they had misunderstood how they work.

For example, you can add thousands of dropdowns via a single custom code box. They’re just HTML so you can add as many as you like.
