Talian theme

Hi,

Problem : incompatibility between your css (1.64 or 2.1 Beta) and the css from the theme Talian.

Configuration:
Wordpress 2.5, theme Talian 1.0
Suckerfish 1.64 or 2.1 Beta

Theme Talian is at the following url: http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/3-c … talian-10/

Description:
With Default theme for ex., the menu scrolls correctly. But with Talian theme, impossible to catch a sub-menu, only some of the sub-menus are visible because they are displayed under the sidebars.

Hi again,

To complete my first email, another issue.

When I place the mouse on the item 4 (Blogroll) on my website, onmy the first 2 sub-menu items are visible, the other are not. It seems they are displayed under the central column.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Your comment was caught by Akismet and I didn’t see it until now.

The problem you are seeing is probably caused by a weird use of z-index or relative/absolute positioning which places the content above the dropdowns. If it’s a z-index problem, you may be able to correct by increasing the z-index applied to the dropdown, otherwise you will need to edit the themes CSS to correct it.

Thanks for your reply. I hope this time I will be considered as a spam!

I’ve tried to use another theme, Redie 3.0 for example as the following url: http://www.va4business.com/business/61/ … load-free/

But the issue is the same as described in a previous post.
You’re probably right in your analyse of the issue, but I’ve no time to check for that unfortunatly.
Please, have you any possibility to consider my request ?

I’m not sure what your request is exactly. It looks like you still have the same problem of the dropdown disappearing when hovering over the main content.
