Sorry to be a pain, but since people here seem to be well versed in WordPress plugin menu systems, I was wondering if someone had done the same thing with the Sliding Door technique please? Stu Nicholls also has examples of this on his website. Thank you!
Sorry if could add this to my previous comment: where hovering over the top main menu would result in the sub-menu being generated/shown just below.
A sliding doors style menu is on my (very long) list of things to do. It’s unlikely I’ll get on to it within the next six months though.
There are no plugins (that I’m aware of) for WordPress which can do this at the moment.
