I’m new to wordpress and working with plugins. Slimbox is not working for me either. Where do I have to add the header tag for it to work?

Sancho, please first provide a link to your website so I acn see what’s going on. I assume you’ve activated the plugin?

Your site appears to be…severely broken. I checked with both Firefox, IE 8, and Chrome.

That said, I still looked at your HTML. I only saw one picture (Tree-Roots-Tracking), and it wasn’t set up as a link to an image, so assuming that was what you actually wanted to add the effect to, that would be a reason.

For slimbox to work you need to do something similar to the following:
