Hi, first of all, I’ve already read all topics related to this plugin and possible bugs but didn’t find any solution to my issue.

    Config : plugin v1.5 + WP v3.0.1

I followed all the instructions to install the plugin. Once activated, I simply have no changes when I log as an editor user. I was using the french version of WP, so I tested on a brand new english install and I have exactly the same problem. I also tried to change the user permissions and it doesn’t work either.

Too bad cause this plugin is exactly what I need. Thanks to provide such a plugin but it could be better if I can make it work  <img decoding=” title=”Grin” />.

    Hi,

I have the same problem. I also use WP v3.0.1. Could you please help me out? This is exact the plugin I am looking for.

    Thanks in advanced.

There is another solution for 3.0+ search for the Capability Manager plugin.
I does not remove menu items outright but you can do things like not allow editors to delete pages. It is very impressive and it is simple.

I’m very sorry for the massively long delay in my reply. I have been terribly busy lately and this forum has suffered a distinct lack of responses from me unfortunately.

This was indeed a major bug you guys uncovered. I hadn’t noticed on my own sites as I had incorporated the add_action() function directly into the themes for some (entirely unknown) reason, and so the bug was not triggered.

When I tried it on a fresh install of WordPress I could indeed see the exact same bug and have fixed it for. It should be available to download shortly:
