Hello! Im totally new to wordpress so sorry if i dont know the jargon well enough but Ill explain with lots of detail.
1. I would like the dynamic highlighting, I see it in one of the examples: https://geek.hellyer.kiwi/demo/wordpress/ind … n%20Plugin — See how when you click on about it is red or orange behind it (not sure if thats the right jargon but its what Ive heard it called)
2. I only want this to show the portfolio page and it has subpages under it which would activate the dropdown.
3. So, when you choose graphics for example it will show that dynamic highlight thing
4. Basically I want it to behave like the rest of the links in the navigation are. They are a pinkish color, hover is white and than when you are viewing that page (dynamic highlighting), the link is white and a border underneath it.
5. And this does not have to apply to the subpages so when you are viewing them i dont care what they look like but I want the portfolio to be white and the border underneath it when you are viewing any pages under it.
6. How do I get rid of the link to the portfolio page, it has a link but is there a way to just hover over it and will drop the dropdown and will not go to a page when clicked.
7. I changed a lot in the css. And I know there is a way to do this because I see it on the example lol I just want javascript for the portfolio the home, about and contact ide like to just leave how they are but if they have to be added to the navigation than thats fine i guess.
8. And i like how it is now that when you hover over portfolio the li elements are floated left and are next to each other side by sideI hope I gave enough detail.
Here is my css file: http://www.mikewgd.net/wp-content/theme … /style.cssDecember 18, 2008 at 7:50 am #4364imported_RyanMember1. That feature is available in the premium version of the CSS generator[/url:27bi4kqq].
2. Use the ‘exclude’ pages feature to remove the pages you don’t want to show. Or you could try one of the betas which are floating around here in the forum, some of those have support for ‘including’ only certain pages.
You can get rid of the links by writing a custom script for the menu rather than using the suckerfish() function.
I don’t understand (7)
I’m not sure I can answer most of your other questions as your site doesn’t seem to be up and running (WP not installed).
