Shift Menu to right

Hello,

I have a quick question… I have a site up and would like to have the background of the menu run the full width of the site. That works great.

What I would like to do is have the menu content (which should be 990px wide) automatically float in the middle of the page depending on the width of the screen. I have everything set up but the menu <ul> is up against the left side of the page. How can I modify this so it automatically places itself in the middle of the page.

to see what I mean. The other content is above and below and centers without issue. The top nav item stays in one spot on the left.
