    Ryan:

Please look at these two url’s:

    http://hyerstandard.com/
    http://hyerstandard.development.click3media.com/

I have not been able to figure out why it works on the dev site & not on the other.  I even changed plugin versions, etc.

    Any ideas?

I’ve been debugging this.  The issue is that the live site is not picking up the suckerfish stylesheet css.  When I look at everything in Firebug, I can see the code that is calling to load it (in the header), but there is nothing in the stylesheet whey you look at it.  The other stylesheets are there/ok.

I’m wondering if it has anything to do with file attributes?  Although, my are set to 777 just to see if that affected anything. (No)

Am going to get the beta plugin and put the css into the themes stylesheet to see if works that way.

That worked, putting the css into the themes stylesheet.

Was thinking though, could it be a directory path issue and so the program is not finding the stylesheet?

Ryan, when you read this … I would appreciate it if you would look at http://hyerstandard.com and tell me why it is so difficult to select items when hovering on the dropdown menu?  Is it something to do with sfhover?  Maybe the file that defines that is also not being loaded?  This happens on both the live & dev blog.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thanks for the thorough run down on your problem. I usually find it impossible to figure out complicated problems like this because people don’t give me enough information.

I’d like to see your original problem in action though as it sounds similar to the issue that RobRush was having … https://geek.hellyer.kiwi/forum/index.php?to … 870#msg870

Do you know what the URL to the style.php file was?

The following tag seems to be causing the difficulties in hovering over the dropdown:
    [code:31vz053v]<div id="navbar">[/code:31vz053v]

Ryan, Yes … as you said: "But for some reason the style.php file is not rendered by the browser."  That is the same.  I used firebug & could see that it was calling text/css, but nothing was there.  It could be something related to the host (this is a godaddy reseller/knockoff) or it could have something to do with not finding the right path to the actual css file.  Hmmm????

Ryan:  Ok, the hover problem was resolved by removing the height declaration in the #navbar css.  Weird.    …. Now my problem is that in the categories dropdown I can go down to the 5th button, but if I hover past that it closes the dropdown. This only happens on FireFox, IE is fine.  Any ideas?

Godaddy again eh. That’s the same host RobRush is using – who has a similar problem. I have no idea how to solve that though apart from moving the CSS elsewhere as you have done.

Something is overlaying your menu in Firefox which is causing the problem. I can’t immediately see where the problem is. I’m strapped for time at the moment sorry, so if you need a fix ASAP you will need to sign up for the premium support option[/url:3o2mhlst].

Not sure that makes sense unless the overlay is something coming from FireFox itself.  This issue doesn’t happen on IE.
