Problem with duplicate menus now showing up

I’ve spent almost 2 hours reading through these support forums trying to find the answer I need, but with no luck.  Here’s my issue…

After installing this plug-in and modifying my header section with the appropriate line of code, I [b:1kq8yhf8]do[/b:1kq8yhf8] see the PP menu show up.  The problem, however, is that my old default/theme menu section also continues to show up right underneath it.  When I add or remove pages, they appear or disappear in both menus.. which tells me I must be very close to having this look & work the way it should.

So that’s the big question: how the hell do I get rid of (or replace) the default menu?  I’m fairly proficient with this stuff, but for the life of me cannot figure this problem out.

The code will be somewhere in your theme. It’s impossible for us to know where without seeing it though sorry.
