MemberHi Ryan
Re my previous, 1.8 definitely fails to drop down in all those browsers. This I confirmed on my dev PC at home. The earlier report was my two employer workstatios.I found hovering over the item with submenus very fast, as soon as menu appears, displays dropdown for a half second. Then it disappears. All browsers.
Backgraded to 1.08 and dropdown behaves again. You might want to pull 1.8 if you can’t find quick answer. You know what we are like on the forums:0)
PS: Please delete this after reading. It’s not needed here. Just updating earlier where you’ll find it.

MemberWhat previous?
The plugin seems to be working fine on all the sites I’ve seen so far. I’m not going to pull the plugin from the repository if I can’t see an example of it not working.

MemberHello Ryan.
My ‘previous’ is a comment in the Live Menu Examples asking for a listing. I thought it was awaiting moderation but might be lost. In that request I also noted the 1.8 ‘dropdown’ issue (which I shouldn’t have done there. Sorry).
I will upgrade again to 1.8 and get back to you here.

MemberHi Ryan
Upgraded to 1.8 (from 1.08) just now and dropdowns stopped working in Safari, Opera, FFox, Chrome (current versions) – but OK in IE7.
Can you confirm the PixoPoint demo blog is on 1.8? (https://geek.hellyer.kiwi/demo/wordpress/) as its drowdowns work on all browsers on my PC. If so then it’s my theme or handiwork :0)
The website having this problem is: http://graffitijunction.com
Only menu items ‘gallery’ and ‘about’ have submenus.

MemberThat demo is not running the latest version at all. In fact that is a very old version.

MemberOk thanks.
I’ve gone back to 1.08 therefore the menus will be working again, if you haven’t looked yet. Will wait see before upgrading.

MemberThanks again Ryan, and sorry for confusion.
For what it’s worth, I was surprised to find all those versions between 107 and 181 as I regularly auto-upgrade plugins for 10 blogs and record plugin versions in spreadsheet.
Seems I jumped from 1.07 to 1.8 (6 weeks between them?) on this particular WP. So I painstakingly downloaded 1.6 through 1.8 and tested each. 1.6 crashed and 1.61 did not drop submenus, so back to 1.08.
PS: Since my first post is missing, and someone else might have this issue, versions above 1.08 stopped displaying dropdowns in current versions of FFox, Safari, Opera, Chrome – but work in IE7.
Guess it’s my theme, which is LAXvII theme by Milo317.

MemberI suspect your server is probably the problem actually. It won’t be serving the javascript files correctly. You can fix it by using the following settings:
Animations: instant
Keyboard accessibility: no
Sensitivity: whatever the maximum setting is (I can’t remember what I called it)That should (I think) at least get the menus working in IE6. Malcalevak and I are working to try and figure out why some servers aren’t working correctly, or at least will figure out an alternative solution involving automatically writing files to disk.

MemberKeyboard accessibility was culprit. Vers 181 now ok all current vers browsers. (not testing in ie6 as even the theme crashes in that:0)
Sorry again for burning your time, should have fiddled more before posting.
Running WP Diagnosis plugin. Do you need any apache/mysql/php info?

MemberOk, I’ll organise and submit this weekend. The blog has no serious traffic so bloopers & outages are fine.
