Part of drop down menu disappearing

I have Google adsense and some other ads in my blog. On my drop down, if it runs into the Google adsense that part of the menu disappears and the ad underneath it shows. Furthermore, even though the rest of the menu shows under the ad, you cannot move with your mouse to that part of the menu, when the cursor hits the ad the menu disappears.

Can anything be done about this? It is limiting the type of ads we put on our site and the revenue we can make. I love having the drop down menus but this is a serious issue for us.

That is an unfortunate problem with the Adsense TOS. As far as I can tell, you are not allowed to have the menu go over the top of the ads and I’m unaware of a way of forcing the dropdown over the top (although a solution may exist).
