Parse Error

I am not able to use the themes with my wordpress (2.7.1).  I downloaded a default theme (ie.  didn’t change anything) and this is the error I get:

Parse error: parse error in C:wampwwwsandboxwp-contentthemesBasic bluefunctions.php on line 410

I’m running it locally off my machine.  Any thoughts?  Line 410 is where the functions page ends.

Hi,
I’d love to help, but there is nothing I can do without seeing the functions.php file.

If you just try it again it should work fine though. The default templates always work unless something has gone horridly wrong.

Hello,

Running on my local machine Windows XP and Wampserver2, I have a "parse" error $end encountered at line 405.Note that on the remote machine Ubuntu server and Apache (french OVH hosting) the parse error does not occur.
Here joined the functions.php involved and the xml.

After neutralizing all functions of functions.php, it appears that the include request of wp-settings.php at the root induces the parse error.

The signalled problem does not occur when using PHP 4.3

There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with it in PHP5 either.
