Hello,
Is there a way to turn on caption text in nextgengallery using together with wp-slimbox2? All I have is ‘image x of z" information.

Alt text was added in nextgengallery now how do I make it so that it is displayed on each photo? My post consists only of nextgen code:
[gallery=10]and nothing else.
I’d appreciate any help here.BTW – WP-SLimbox2 is the only ‘lightboxlike’ plugin that does not kill my slideshow and main page after activating. Thanks a lot for that !
I do not really see where you are trying to use the slimbox, but make sure your Title tag for the images is populated – that’s what slimbox is using for the caption, not Alt text.

If you check http://dczepiel.pl/testbaza/category/testowa/?lang=en you will see 5 images. If you click on them they open using slimbox effect (WP-Slimbox2 plugin) but there is no caption text – just image numbers.
The way NextGen is working is that I do not place those individual photos there, but into the post i paste code:
[gallery=xx] where xx is the NextGen gallery ID and it automatically places all the photos from that gallery into the post. There is no code I can actually edit for each individual picture to implement title tag and have caption.The only place where I edit ‘caption text’ is at admin menu, NextGen Gallery settings – each photo has "Alt text/Description" field and that should be displaying.

That is working not on your plugin (WP-slimbox2) but the "slimbox-plugin". That alt text/description field is showing correctly. Link: http://dczepiel.pl/?page_id=11&lang=en However this slimbox-plugin (not yours) is not working properly on the new theme I want to implement (the one yo usee at http://dczepiel.pl/testbaza) – it crashes the drop down menus on the top and crashes the slideshow.
Your WP-slimbox 2 plugin is the only lightbox-effect type plugin that works properly and thank you for that. I guess if I can’t have captions (as this is the only thing that’s missing for me) I will live with that, but I’m just exploring if maybe there is a way to have that text displayed.
