Is it possible to add NextGen Gallery (along with the gallery sub menus) as a menu item in the simplified admin panel for clients/low level users?

Sorry for the delay in replying. The answer is probably yes, although I don’t have time to work on this at the moment. Can you use NextGen at all with the plugin? Or do you not have access to the necessary admin pages?

August 22, 2008 at 11:31 am #3424shaileshMemberHi Ryan,
Thanks for replying.
I have installed and activated both ‘NextGen gallery’ and ‘ryans_simplecms_v124’ plugins. Now when i login -to the simplified admin panel- as a low level user, the ‘NextGen gallery’ tab does not show up (it does display when i login as administrator). How do I get the ‘NextGen gallery’ tab to be displayed in the simplified admin panel when logged in as a low-level user? My PHP-MySQl and CSS knowledge is pretty limited.
Or is there any other wordpress plug-in available through which it is possible to customize the admin back-end panel so that only selected options are enabled/displayed for low-level users? Any help or guidance would be very highly appreciated.
Thanks, again.
Regards,

I don’t have time to add support for NextGen right now. There is another plugin which I think is called WP Lite. I don’t have a link at hand right now, but I think it can do what you are wanting.Alternatively, you could sign up for our premium membership option and I’ll make a customised version for you. I will probably add support for this at some stage, but I’m quite busy with other projects at the moment so probably won’t get to it for quite some time.
