Hi everyone,
I’m having a bit of a problem with the menu dropdowns.
I think I’ve tried every possible way (in my knowledge) to place the php code in the html file in order for the menu to display and function correctly but, I still cannot seem to get the dropdowns to function properly. I’ve tried creating a separate div tag to hold the code, I’ve placed the code by itself, tried to get rid of any stylings that may interfere with it, but still no solution. I’m in need of some help…
I did notice that when I made the div section with a height of 300px the dropdowns function correctly so it seems like it’s having a problem with the other elements on the site (it goes underneath the elements rather than over them – I also tried adding a z-index to see if it would help but it didn’t work either). It’s probably easier for you to see what’s going on rather than me explaining so here’s the link to the site:

Thanks!

March 13, 2010 at 7:22 am #8212geelizetteMemberI solved the problem! I added "z-index:99999;" to "#suckerfishnav, #suckerfishnav ul" and it fixed the issue!
I hope this helps anyone else having the same problem

This is just a FYI as I’ve been going in circles all afternoon with the same problem, second level hover not being sticky enough, and z-index didn’t fix mine. However, I now have a working drop down menu.
I was using the PixoPoint Menu Plugin 0.6.20 I deactivated that and went to their earlier plugin Multi-level Navigation Plugin 2.2.1, which kept all my css info ” title=”Smiley” /> That worked straight away so I suspect there was something not entirely css about what was going on, maybe jquery?

Perhaps try changing to the latest beta to see if that fixes it. I’ve made a bunch of changes to it which may have ironed out the bug you encountered.
