Here is a link to my test site for the project in question: http://joeymerchant.com/wp_oatland_island

I am running WordPress 2.8.5 with the default theme customized.

Currently activated is the Multi-level Navigation Plugin by PixoPoint , though the problem occurred when I tried the simple sidebar navigation plugin as well

The issue is that when I insert the instructed code the menu doesn’t appear in the intended spot, which is in the sidebar aligned at the top with the main content window and the other sidebar elements below the suckerfish navigation.

No matter what the page size, the menu appears just below the bottom of my main content window in the sidebar and the other elements adjust around it.

How can I get everything in sync?

I need to find what I am doing wrong before I loose too much more sleep! I know it is not too complicated, I am just a little new to wordpress customization and php. Thank you.

It looks you are needing full integration help. That’s too time consuming for me to do for free sorry <img decoding=” title=”Sad” /> With Premium Support I’ll happily do everything for you though … https://geek.hellyer.kiwi/services/premium-support/
