Hi,
I have just installed PixoPoint menu and have been playing around with it since yesterday. I use the K2 template and that menu system does not have a featrue for dropdown menus, though I tried to modify it using the ‘Son of Suckerfish’ details I saw on the net but it did not work. I have found that the PixoPoint menu does provide me with with nice dropdown menus on a horizontal menu bar.
I set the "Enable arrow mark-up" feature in the PixoPoint menu options but noticed that the double arrow, indicating that the menu item has a submenu, does not appear at all when using IE8. The double arrow does appear on Opera, Firefox and Chrome.
Does anyone else have this problem and is there a workaround?

I can see that the double arrow does work on your website in IE8 but it does not work on my site in IE8 so I understand why you are saying that it might be something on my site.
I will try out a few things and will let you know if I find something that fixes it.
BTW, I am using the K2 theme.
Thank you for responding quickly.

Interestingly, my web server was down yesterday for many hours. Today, it is back up and now the double-arrow is working on IE8.
I understand that my ISP is moving websites to new servers (from one data centre to another) and so it seems that a change of physical server has fixed this problem.
You were right to indicate that the double-arrow issue seemed to be a server issue with IE8.

March 2, 2010 at 9:06 am #8015haraldMemberHi Ryan
I upgraded pixopoint menu yesterday and it looks like everything is working fine exept the "arrow mark-up". I can check the box, but when I update the page the check mark has disappeared and consequently no arrows in the menu. Is it me or do we have a bug? I use the latest WP 2.9.2 with the Atahualpa 3.4.4 theme.

Thanks for a great plugin
HaraldMarch 9, 2010 at 3:06 am #8017imported_RyanMemberGood to hear you found a solution. Was this a bug though? ie: did it only happen after upgrading? Or did you do something which caused the problem like turning on "Compatibility mode"?
March 9, 2010 at 7:23 am #8018haraldMemberThe bug was me. I turned on Compatibility mode. Sorry.
Take care,
