MemberHi Ryan,
Again, sorry about that. I haven’t used the private setting before but it did say that that setting is open to a maximum of 25 of people. Anyway, I have made it piblic so you should now be able to see it working. When you do see it, I will take it down.

MemberHi,
Thanks for the video.I thought you were referring to the quick reply box at the bottom of the page so that is what I had been testing in IE8 with. But even when I tried the other one like you were using, I still couldn’t get that jumping motion.
What were you doing when it did that? It looked like you were just holding the scroll bar and moving it up and down, but I’m guessing not.

MemberHI Ryan,
I usually click on hte "Reply" link at the bottom of a message, not the Quick Reply.
I am not using the mouse, I was simply typing in each letter of the sentence when you saw it jump up and down in the video. With the sound on, you should be able to hear me typing and it is in unison with the jumping action. It is most frustrating when you need to see what you have just typed because it is off screen and you need to then scroll down each time in order to check what you wrote.
As I said, it seems to be only a problem with IE8 though I have not used the other browsers until I used Opera for my last post.

MemberThat’s really weird!
Sorry about that. It’s kinda hard to fix without being able to replicate it though.

MemberI think I’ve figured it out. You weren’t in IE8 specifically, you were in IE8 Compatibility mode which uses an entirely different rendering engine.
Just go back into regular mode and it should fix itself.
Sorry for the errors. I’ll put them on my ever growing todo list. Unfortunately the code in this forum is an absolute horror to work with and that doesn’t help my motivation.

MemberHi Ryan,
I had forgotten about Compatiblity mode in IE8. I feel sure I was in standard mode as I have not used Compatiblity mode for quite some time.
As feedabck, I tried Compatiblity mode and the problem does not seem to show up. I am sending this post in standard mode and the problem seems to be still there. I may need to log out and log back in so I will try that out.
I know that his issue was only minor to all of the other things you could be doing. I thank you for your attention to this problem – I appreciate it.
Keep up the good work on your products!
