MemberHello there,
I recently installed the multi-level navigation plugin on the latest version of wordpress MU… however when trying to change any of the options in the admin panel it returns a page saying ‘Error! Options page not found’.
I had a look around for people with similar problems and apparently its caused by wpmu using a different approach to plugin coding… which will possibly be implemented in standard WordPress in the future… so heads up!
I was wondering whether there was a quick fix at all? The following links are where I found the information:
http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/topic.php?id=11621%5B/url:198zr9mq%5D
http://codex.wordpress.org/Migrating_Plugins_and_Themes_to_2.7#Plugins%5B/url:198zr9mq%5DAny help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

MemberI would love to find a solution too! I don’t use WordPress Mu and have
no idea what the problem is. If you find a solution or even find a
vague hint at what may be causing it I would love to know. The second link you sent is to WordPress.org and I’ve already
implemented that uninstall method already.March 19, 2009 at 6:00 pm #5719tr33m4n

MemberThanks, but that just looks like another .org link. The .org software is working fine, it’s Mu which is the problem.

MemberHmm, I was under the impression the problems were similar? As in re-writing the plugin code to white list their options using new functions… If you look at the link I posted above, the guy writing it said he modified the code using the following information http://maisonbisson.com/blog/post/13208/making-plugin-options-pages-compatible-with-wordpress-27/%5B/url:3qd4mtgq%5D which mentions the new wordpress MU plugin security and how to modify code to make it work… check it out! I hope someone understands far greater than I
