disable grunion admin plugin doesn’t work for me

is it compatible with wp 3.1.2 with multisite enabled? the grunion plugin is network activated. network activating this plugin to hide that link doesn’t do anything

It should work fine. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be.

I’ll try to find time to look into this later in the week.

even renaming the plugin file and putting it into mu-plugins/ doesn’t work.
the new menu under the dashboard is created but the old one remains

might have a hint, this is from my error log:
