disable caption link

hello,
i moved my old site to wordpress and i added the slimbox plugin which
works great except one thing, when the pictures are presented the
caption in the bottom are linked to the image itself.
i would like to make the caption without any links and just text.
all the posts i found are trying to add more lines & links to the
caption ” title=”Smiley” />
i home someone can help me.

Go into WP-Slimbox2 settings and uncheck "Caption is URL".

another question, is it possible to display the title of the image underneath it in the gallery ?
something like this:

In the Slimbox popup, or on the page beforehand?

before the pop up, when your see the thumbnails of the gallery.

If I knew off the top of my head, I’d tell you, but I don’t, and that’s technically separate from the plugin, so I’ll just recommend you do what I’d do if I wanted to know. Google it!
