Custom html code doesn’t work

    I created a custom list to use as the menu and put it into box 1, but the menu acts as if I didn’t.

    Also asked it to exclude one of my pages, and it ignored that too.

    What am I doing wrong?

    did you choose "Custom 1" in the menu item #1 from the main menu contents at the top of the admin page?
