Do you mean you want your WordPress install to alert you when a new update is made? Unfortunately I don’t know if that is possible with the beta. It happens automatically with the stable version as it is hosted at WordPress.org and each WordPress install seems to autocheck that site for updates. But since the beta isn’t stored there it doesn’t work.
If anyone knows how to get this working with beta versions I’m all ears!
