Change drop down order?

    Is it possible to change the order in which the posts are displayed under the category dropdown? For example, all the posts under the category  ‘Galleries’ are displayed in a dropdown menu, but ‘Other work’ is the first on the list which is not what I would desire.

    How can I change this?

    Use the order functionality in wordpress? (pages -> quick edit -> edit number behind "order")

    You would need to change the post dates as they’re displayed in chronological order.
