    Hi, this looks just like what I am looking for ! I am new to WordPress. I want to make a website for a friend. He must be able to edit only parts (predefined layer) on a static webpage. I don’t want him to ruin the whole architecture of the site.
    Can this be done with this plugin ?

    Yep, this plugin sounds exactly what you are looking for. It will convert WordPress from a blogging platform to something designed purely for static sites with no posts or comments.
