    Hi Ryan,

I’d downloaded 1.6.2 today, but see you’re updating it already. 1.6.2 didn’t really do what I was after, but was well on the way – so I’ve edited it a bit. I’ll email you my version if you’d like to incorporate bits of it into your next release. Save us from developing in independent directions. The changes add further flexibility to the number of menus, and also enable easy(ish) custom menu creation.

    Cheers,

    Mark

I’ll look forward to seeing what you have done. I am happy to give you credit for anything you help add to the plugin.

Menu customisation is something I’m very keen on improving, but hadn’t worked out the best way to go about doing it just yet.

I had an initial idea that it should probably take the form of two text boxes, one for the menu item and one for its url, but was trying to figure out how this could be achieved tidily for multiple menu and an unknown number of menu items. I fear the idea that I’ve come up with, whilst user friendly may be a lot of work… The idea is largely based around the interface for the wp-simpleviewer plugin. I’ve emailed you a brief summary of the idea.

Interesting concept you sent me. My meagre programming skills don’t lend themselves well to doing stuff like that though <img decoding=” title=”Tongue” />

I would prefer a Javascript drag and drop interface if possible, but I suspect that may be too difficult for me. I know next to zero Javascript.
