add images to sidebar

Thanks for the great tool… I love the way the menu bar works! The site I’m redesigning now is a static site and I started with the Aqua Vaccinium theme to create the files. I want to customize the sidebar and add a few small icons but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get images to show up. I’ve messed with the code in the functions.php file (adding the <img src> tags in different places) but nothing has worked. Is it even possible to do this with a dynamic sidebar? Any light you can shed on this would be great. Thanks.

What exactly are you trying to do to the sidebar? ie: where do you want the IMG tags to be exactly? If you just want images in your sidebar then you could use a simple text widget.
