(sorry, I don’t speak english very well )
Hi, and thanks a lot for your plugin.
I really like it but I have a little problem.
Autoload is check.
When I try to display one picture, it’s ok. But when I try to use it with more than one picture that doesn’t work (I can see the picture, but I cant browse them. I havent the arrow and left or right arrow keybord dont work). So I try to use rel=’lightbox-something’ but it doesnt work too.
I have try to put <div class=’page’>…content…</div> tag, same thing.Maybe it’s my theme, but the author of this theme use a lightbox on his blog.
Theme : http://samk.ca/freebies/free-wordpress-theme-pixeled/ or http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/pixeled
My website : http://www.network144.com/blogus/I hope you can help me ” title=”Smiley” />
April 20, 2009 at 4:29 pm #5903malcalevakModeratorHi MoB,
Looking at your site, I’m not entirely sure why you’d want to group the two images I saw since they were so drastically far apart and not related, but assuming you do you will unfortunately have to manually enter those rel tags again and then DISABLE auto-load. I tested this on your site and it worked fine. If I get the time and can figure it out I might try and put in some additional settings to help auto-load conditions like yours, but for now you’re stuck doing it that way.
Hope that helps. You might also be happy to know that a French translation should be included with the next release which will hopefully occur soon. At least, I think that’s French on your site, my apologies if I’m mistaken.
April 20, 2009 at 5:07 pm #5904AnonymousMemberThanks to anwser so quickly ” title=”Wink” />
I have disable Autoload and make a new post with the rel tags and it’s work.
Thanks a lot.
Now I need to edit the old post to add rel tags .If you haven’t found the others pictures it’s just because it’s in a private post … sorry ” title=”Grin” />
And yes it’s a great news for the french translation (This is actually a french site ” title=”Wink” /> ). Even if the options does not too difficult to understand.Just by curiosity, why it’s work for one picture, but not for most ? And why it’s work when autoload is disable (and add rel tags) ?
April 20, 2009 at 6:15 pm #5905malcalevakModeratorYou were correct that it was because of the theme. The plugin looks for a parent div element that is either assigned class="post" or id="page", current I don’t have an alternative if it doesn’t find one.
You’d mentioned trying a div with class="page" (and maybe that’s what I actually said in another thread…) but you’d want to use "post".
That said, now that I know the images you’re applying it to aren’t the ones on the front page, the easiest solution probably would be for you to but a <div class="post">…gallery images…</div>, but try it first to make sure it works.
April 20, 2009 at 6:54 pm #5906AnonymousMemberHi ! It’s me again !
I have enabled autoload and try with <div class="post">…gallery images…</div>And …. It works!
Indeed, trying a div with class="page" is what I had read in a previous thread of yours.Anyway, thanks for your help, hope I might ask you some more later ^^
