WordPress MU whitelisting options

I am using WordPress MU 2.7, which requires that options for plugins each be whitelisted. I’m a little lost. I have found information on the general problem on the wordpress mu forums here:

But can’t quite understand what I need to do specifically to make this plugin work. Apparently, the new version of Wordress requires a similar modification but I cannot find where it has come up before with this plugin.

Any help would be VERY greatly appreciated. I am starting to learn php but am at about a kindergarten level right now – not where I need to be to figure this one out on my own. I have certainly tried.
