Beginner question– CSS placement

I copied the generated CSS and pasted it in a file and named it: suckerfish.css.

I pasted it with all the other theme files. It is showing in the list of CSS on my Eidt Themes Admin panel.

I made a change in background color and saved the changes. However, no change I make to the CSS seems to make any difference.

Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?
