menu category order not working

I’m using:

Wordpress v2.7.1
Multi-level Navigation Plugin v2.1

I’ve set the menu order to "ascending ID#" but it still lists items in alphabetical order. I’ve managed to figure everything else out I think, but this one has me stumped. I’ve checked category ID’s and the lower values are definitely not listing first. It’s a bit annoying because I really want my "News" category to be the first item, currently it’s in the middle somewhere.

The site is currently sitting at http://www.presagedesign.co.uk/wordpress%5B/url:3sykfctf%5D and all I’ve done is customise the CSS using the customiser web site, then copy and pasted that code into the default appearance section of the Settings page for the plugin.
