1.9.5 Upgrade – How do I hide empty categories again??

Upgraded to 1.9.5 and the Categories dropdown now displays all categories – including empty ones.  Useful for some, but not what I want … so how can I change it back to the original behavior?

There’s a reference in the plugin page to "hide_empty=0", but no checkbox, etc. on the settings page.

I’m probably missing something simple, but I’m too tired to look at it right now.

Found the change in MLN’s core.php and reverted to use "hide_empty=1" for now.

This really should be configurable … you can hide categories with exclusions, but would need to remember to remove the exclusion if a post to a previously empty category was made.

I wondered about this when I changed it actually. I didn’t realise it hid them until I needed to show the empty ones, so in the next release I changed it. I’ll add an option right now and upload a new version for you which allows you to configure it.

A new version is being uploaded right now (1.9.6) which reverts everything back to the original way the plugin worked, but gives an option in the admin page to show the empty categories if you want to.
