Update:

I’ve added a colour picker to the colour selections so you don’t need to add the hex colour codes by hand any more.

And I’ve also added some more options to the Premade Designs selection box.

Thanks for putting this together!! I just revised the menu on my nonprofit’s website and this was a snap! Previously, I had been using a pain-in-the-butt Flash script. I can’t thank you enough for saving me a lot of time.

Chris – Your site looks really nice. Yours is the first example of my dropdown being used for a NON-WordPress site.

I found a bug in the generator which was throwing IE6 dropdowns out of position by a little. Not much, but enough to be annoying. If you want to correct the CSS for any existing dropdowns, you will need to remove the width from the following part of the CSS:

I’ve now added an option for right and left flyout directions.

I also fixed a bug which was throwing off the flyout positions when one of the premade designs was chosen.

Joe Banks – Thanks for the pointer. I’ll take a look at that and if it is a consistent problem I’ll add that as a default in the CSS generated.

I’ve improved the code output so that it isn’t so jumbled when you try to copy and paste into a text editor or the WordPress dropdowns plugin.
