    Can the menu be centered on the page?

    Yes.

    You need to set a width and then apply margin:0 auto to center it, like this:
    [code:3b7pxmpz]#suckerfishnav, #suckerfishnav ul {margin:0 auto;width:20em}[/code:3b7pxmpz]
