I really would like to get the Multi-level menu CSS generator to work on non-Wordpress pages.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get it working.  Using the  Red Dazzle css and the sample ul list, I made 3 pages:

    http://bkb2.com/sfish/ddn-rdattempt.html
    –css and list together

    http://bkb2.com/sfish/ddn-premade.html
    …and
    http://bkb2.com/sfish/ddnrd.css
–html file and separate .css file.

The only changes to the files:
I added one class (.highlight) to the css and a little text to the html.
This adds a yellow highlight to the text and is is to test if the html file is receiving the css ok, since the dropdown menu doesn’t work at all.

The pages have been tested in Safari and Firefox.  (Since I can’t get them to work at all, I haven’t bothered with any IE fixes).

I would so appreciate if you could take a look and tell me what’s going wrong.  Thanks in advance,

The CSS code is a mess. There are a bunch of weird characters in it which will be preventing the menu form working.

Perhaps you posted it via some sort of word processor? If you copy and paste straight from the CSS generator into a text file, it should work fine.

Thanks, that was it!  I used two different text editors to copy/paste your code. They both picked up your indents which turned into the same weirdness.  The trick was to strip the indents, then everything worked great.
    Thanks again :-)
