I’ve recently taken over a site that someone else designed, which is here:
http://www.dagfaschool.notts.sch.uk/It uses the Pixopoint Menu Plugin and the stylesheet is here:
http://www.dagfaschool.notts.sch.uk/wp- … /style.phpAll of a sudden today the links aren’t working as they should, hashes (#) have started to appear in the links and the url is appearing twice, so links arent working, eg:
http://www.dagfaschool.notts.sch.uk/#"http://www.dagfaschool.notts.sch.uk/pastoral-care/school-ethos/#"Strangely when I am logged into the admin section all the links work fine.
Please Help, I’m struggling to find a solution. thanks

September 18, 2010 at 4:24 pm #8993imported_RyanMemberThe links seem to be working fine for me. Which specific ones are not working?
October 14, 2010 at 9:23 pm #8994AnonymousMemberI’m having the same problem on a site that we manage.
Please let me know if anyone has found a solution.
Thanks,

None of the links work in the top menu bar (which is pixopoint)
November 20, 2010 at 3:30 pm #8996AnonymousMemberhas this issue been resolved? I started to get the same thin last night. My links are displaying as
http://MYDOMAIN.com/####"22http://MYDOMAIN.com/discounts/####" Cand find a solution for it anywhere. Tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin but to no avail.January 21, 2011 at 11:59 pm #8997AnonymousMemberI have just modified a site – added pixopoint plugin Version 0.6.20
The site was working fine post pixopoint installation, then suddenly – as everyone else here has said the URLs are broken. "# is being inserted in every link and they are being duplicated.http://www.aucea.org.au/#%22http://www. … hip/%23%22
I suspected a plugin conflict but.
I have deactivated ALL plugins.
Activated pixopoint ONLY – and the links are still broken. The site is http://aucea.org.au/%5B/url:251dxlvb%5D
If anyone has a fix for this I need it asap – the client is becoming very annoyed.
OR… an alternative to pixopoint that works.January 22, 2011 at 1:47 am #8998heffeggMemberI am having the same problem on http://www.aucea.org.au/
Everything was working then suddenly the links were duplicated and included #" in every link. After several hours of investigation I have isolated the problem to:
It occurs when pages are set to be "excluded" from the menu.
My excludes are: 375,406,409,411,413,237,552,556,501Everything was working with these pages excluded – then suddenly links broke.
By removing the excluded IDs from the "Pages" tab, the menu started working, putting them back again broke it -> NEED A FIX ASAP – these pages cannot appear in the menu – I have temporarily set them to draft to hide them.Another very curious issue – the links still worked as expected in Firefox – but in Safari, Chrome and other browsers the #" appeared in every link as well as duplicating the path to the home page.
Pixopoint people – please respond – this is creating a BIG headache for me and my client.
January 22, 2011 at 2:26 am #8999imported_RyanMemberAre you perhaps using the exclude URLs feature?
There is a big difference between the exclude links feature and the exclude URLs feature. The exclude URLs feature intentionally replaces the URLs with #, that’s the purpose of that particular feature.
