    Hi

I am using the PixoPoint menu plugin, and I have managed to get the menu show up in the right place in the header/nav section. Currently I have only managed to show a) only PixoPoint menu with dropdowns, or b) only original menu with no drop downs, or c) both at the same time. However, what I WANT to accomplish is to use the original theme menu but add dropdowns. Is this possible? Anyone know how?

I have no experience with php or wordpress customisation, so please explain on novice level.. <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

My site (currently with both menus visible for reference):
    http://www.binah.nu/wordpress

The css page should be located at:
    http://www.binah.nu/wordpress/wp-content/theme … header.php

    Thanks!
    Lady L

To add dropdowns to your original menu you will need to know both PHP and CSS to modify it accordingly. That isn’t something you can do with a plugin.

It’s not unpossible to do that, but it’s not what the plugin’s for. You’d be better off styling the pixopoint menu to mimic the original menu’s look. That’s likely to be simple CSS changes, which shouldn’t take too long.

Ok, I will have to look into php coding then.. It’s about time anyway! <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

Thanks, I’ll take a look at that option too!

If you get stuck on the PHP coding, feel free to post your attempts in here.

I don’t generally provide generic PHP/WordPress advice in here, but I’m not too bothered if you are trying to learn how to write your own dropdown menu. I went through the same process a couple of years ago and found it a little infuriating figuring out what the heck I was doing wrong, which is part of the reason why I wrote the plugin.
