CSS Formating Not Working

[font=arial:2yocrm09]Having trouble getting the actual menu text to show up [b:2yocrm09]across all browsers[/b:2yocrm09].  I have a feeling it's the CSS interfering with each other, but I'm too new to WP to figure out were to look (even with Firebug's help)[/font:2yocrm09].

Remove <div class="menu"> and it’s corresponding closing </div> tag and the menu will appear.

Firebug isn’t particularly helpful for solving problems like this beyond providing a quick way to edit HTML, but you can do that just as fast locally anyway.
