    Hi

I was wondering how you stop the first level link from going to a page for example I have the following

    Company
      Corporate Overview
      Mission and Values

I dont want the link "Company" to go to a page, not sure how I do this.

    Thanks for any help.

The plugin is not able to do this. I was speaking with someone recently who is contemplating writing a plugin to convert the built in wp_list_pages() to do this but he’s very busy at the moment so may not get on to this for a very long time (ever?).

    Hi Ryan,

Can you put me in contact with this person as the company I liaison with would be willing to pay to get this done.

I don’t know if this option is satisfactory, but I just tried and it seems to do the trick; simply install the "Page Links To" addon – and target the top level menu item to the external page "#". It doesn’t seem to reload or anything, so I’m quite happy with this workaround so far.

    Hey Trollsyn,
That plugin has really helped. If you just put a ‘#’ in the path, it works!

I’m guessing that "Page links to" plugin will do the job. As essentially you are just wanting to make the link point elsewhere.

Otherwise I’m happy to custom write a script to fix this problem (for a fee) if anyone is interested.
