Messed up admin page

Hi,

When I was editing the CSS in the admin panel (like copying it from the generator, pasting it into the admin tab appearance), I accidentally copied not only the css code from the generator, but the complete page text (ctrl+a). I didn’t notice what was going on and I pasted the whole bunch of text into the field under the appearance tab and saved. Now, the complete menu admin panel is messed up. There are tabs missing (only home and appearence are still there) and the button to save the css is gone, so i cant edit it to remove the text.

You have any idea how this can be solved? I only need the save button back, so I can edit the css again and remove all text.

The problem occurs in every browser. I didn’t do anything weird with the css. Well aside from putting a whole page of text in it. I attached a screenshot, so you can see what I mean.

Ah, that’s an annoying problem I never thought of happening.

Go into your database and remove the content of ‘suckerfish_css’ under ‘options’. That will wipe all of the CSS out for you. Or you could fully uninstall the plugin. By ‘uninstall’ I don’t mean deactivate or just delete it, but I mean to go to the plugins page and properly delete it via the admin panel. By doing that, an uninstallation script is run which will totally remove the plugin and all of it’s entiries in your database.

I tried deleting the plugin before. It didn;t work then, it does now. I don’t know what else I did, but it works.

Perhaps you just deleted the plugin before? If you didn’t use the delete functionality in the admin panel then it wouldn’t have worked.
