big gaps after css edit

Hello,

First off, thank you for the plugin.  It is great!

I’m experiencing some problems after tweaking the css to fit my requirements.  The problem appears with all browsers.

Your CSS is at the bottom.

Also the drop downs appear behind the widget, partially.

When you activate the drop-downs, such as on "LOST NEWS" you’ll see there are enormous gaps between the LI’s.  Any idea where I went wrong?

Nice looking menu. I don’t see any ‘giant’ gaps though. What specifically is wrong?

Perhaps a screenshot with an arrow pointing to the problem would help.
